Aging in Irradiated and Nonirradiated Hydras

Evidence is presented that as hydras become older they bud more slowly and become more susceptible to adverse conditions. In these studies, a 2000-roentgen dose of x-radiation did not seem to affect the rate of these changes. The mean number of tentacles did not change with age.
