Abstract

In the cover photo caption [Science 140, 441 (3 May 1963)] the roles of two of the species of oceanic zooplankton should be reversed. Cavolinia inflexa (lower center) is one of the two that feed on particulate matter by means of mucus, and Carinaria japonica (bottom) is one of the predators.
