Quake Prediction Tool Gains Ground

Summary

Greek researchers have come close to predicting three large earthquakes this year by monitoring electrical signals in the crust. Although seismologists don't fully understand the method, and some believe its claimed successes have been due to luck, it is attracting a lot of attention in the earth science community.
