Summary

Galapagos. Fiery eruptions, cold waters, finches, and sperm whales are among the habitats and fauna photographer De Roy portrays in a series of short essays and enchanting images. The giant tortoises of Alcedo Volcano include individuals that may have been present when the young Charles Darwin visited these islands in the 1830s.
