Summary

Clampex 7.0, Windows-based software for monitoring and modifying experimental protocols when using the patch-clamp technique, is evaluated by Mitchell and Schultz in this Tech.View. Although the data analysis portion of the software suite is still DOS-based, the improvements are particularly useful to the novice, but will also be welcomed by the experienced electrophysiologist.
