The lives and deaths of glaciers provide windows to potential changes in ocean circulation and climate. To learn more about climate change at the poles and whether it is the cause of an alarming increase in the calving of bergs in outlying parts of Antarctica, daredevil scientists are getting up close and personal with icebergs to follow their every move.
