Summary

Daniel Pauly is arguably the world's most prolific and widely cited living fisheries scientist, with recent headline-grabbing papers in Science and Nature. He's also an architect of a leading fish database and a popular ecological modeling program. Despite these accomplishments, Pauly remains something of an outsider.
