Summary

Some garter snakes dine on newts and are seemingly unfazed by large quantities of the neurotoxin TTX in the skin of their prey. In a colorful Perspective, Huey and Moody discuss new work ( Geffeney et al.) that unveils how the garter snake resists TTX.
