Summary

Singapore has started to infuse a Silicon Valley culture into its schools through numerous initiatives to prepare students to face the challenges of the new economy. Significant emphasis is placed on fostering attributes of problem-solving, creativity, innovation, inventiveness, and entrepreneurism among students through project work, invention competitions, and various entrepreneurial initiatives, with a view toward sowing the seeds of an enterprise ecosystem.
