Summary

TORONTO-- About 1100 researchers from all walks of biology met here 4 to 8 January to discuss organisms ranging from hawk moths to crocodiles and swap results. An analysis of the skins of almost 30 species of birds from 15 families reported at the meeting found that different colors are produced by variations in how collagen proteins are arranged.
