Summary

Prospects for the $95 billion international space station looked a little dicey for a few days last week, with a threat from Russia that the station would have to be mothballed for 6 months due to a shortage of money for additional Russian launches needed to service the station. But the impasse was resolved when Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov announced that his government would come up with some funds.
