Summary

Clothes may soon change color on command, give you a checkup, and communicate by Wi-Fi, say researchers striving to give fabrics a dose of dyed-in-the-wool smarts. The first results are already on store shelves, but most applications in the emerging field of electronic textiles are still being wired up.
