Summary

Two groups of physicists report online in Science this week (www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/abstract/1093280) that they've created a Bose-Einstein condensate out of fermions rather than the usual bosons, an achievement that might help scientists understand the mystery of high-temperature superconductivity.
