Summary

Biological barriers to gene flow may not be good enough to isolate genetically modified (GM) organisms, according to a report from the National Academy of Sciences released this week. A second report out this week, from the Pew Initiative on Food and Biotechnology, points out the need to clarify regulations of GM arthropods.
