Summary

MONTREAL, CANADA-- More than 6000 physicists braved an early spring freeze here from 22 to 26 March for the American Physical Society's largest-ever March Meeting. Researchers reported that they've created a spongy, ultralightweight form of carbon that for a few brief hours is strongly magnetic.
