Summary

MONTREAL, CANADA-- More than 6000 physicists braved an early spring freeze here from 22 to 26 March for the American Physical Society's largest-ever March Meeting. A team of researchers announced significant progress in the effort to create semiconductors that exploit electrons' spin rather than their charge.
