Summary

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA-- The energetic universe jazzed 440 scientists here from 7 to 11 September at the American Astronomical Society's High Energy Astrophysics Division meeting. The most exquisite x-ray view yet of a supernova's remains fired up astrophysicists who yearn to retrace the explosion--a process still shrouded in mystery.
