Summary

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA-- The energetic universe jazzed 440 scientists here from 7 to 11 September at the American Astronomical Society's High Energy Astrophysics Division meeting. New results announced at the meeting narrow the possible diameters for one neutron star halfway across the Milky Way, showing that earlier, disputed measurements were probably on track.
