Summary

SAN DIEGO-- From 23 to 27 October, this California coastal city hosted more than 30,000 researchers at the annual Society for Neuroscience meeting. New research presented at the meeting suggests that the infant brain's commitment to native speech sounds provides the foundation for later language learning.
