Summary

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA-- From 21 to 24 March, more than 6500 gathered to ponder flowing solids, splashless droplets, and living crystals. In the absence of air, a droplet of liquid can crash into a smooth surface without splattering, physicists reported.
