Summary

Computer modeling is an emerging tool in understanding cellular processes. Lučić and Baumeister describe new work ( Coggan et al. ) that combines computer simulation and experimental data to make a strong case for ectopic release of neurotransmitter at cholinergic synapses at ciliary ganglions.
