Summary

Two University of Nebraska geoscientists plan to use funds from two U.S. agencies and a private foundation to take the first step toward turning the Karakoram mountain range and the nearby Siachen Glacier into a scientific peace park that may one day help ease long-standing tension between India and Pakistan.
