Summary

In his Retrospective, Holdren describes the physicist and Nobel Laureate Joseph Rotblat (1908-2005), whose life's work was committed to determining the health impacts of ionizing radiation and to building international cooperation for reducing the dangers associated with weapons of mass destruction.
