Summary

World population has nearly doubled since Stanford University entomologist Paul Ehrlich published The Population Bomb in 1968. Yet the worst of Ehrlich's widely publicized predictions, including the starvation of hundreds of millions of people in mass famines, have not come true. (Read more.)
