Summary

High-tech radio-astronomy dishes are popping up in several remote areas of the world, including Australia, China, and South Africa, as demonstrators for the International Square Kilometer Array (SKA). Although each will be only a tiny fraction of the size of the planned SKA, the instruments will be capable of conducting cutting-edge science. (Read more.)
