Proust Was a Neuroscientist. By Jonah Lehrer. Houghton Mifflin, Boston, 2007. 256 pp. $24, C$32.95. ISBN 9780618620104.

Artscience. Creativity in the Post-Google Generation. By David Edwards. Harvard University Press, Cambridge, MA, 2008. 203 pp., $19.95, £12.95, €15. ISBN 9780674026254.

Lehrer and Edwards offer a range of examples that suggest the benefits from working in the other direction.
