This week's Newsmakers are prominent polar bear researcher Charles Monnett, who was suspended by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement, on 18 July, pending an investigation, and John Marburger, a physicist and science adviser to President George W. Bush, who died last week of cancer at the age of 70.
