Summary

At age 30, Dutch biologist Freek Vonk has built up a respectable career as a snake scientist. But in his home country, the Netherlands, he is known primarily as a TV celebrity. Vonk's wildlife shows, known for his enthusiastic storytelling, air every day, and Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, where Vonk has a half-time appointment, has made him its public face.
