Multiphoton Excitation System

The FluoView FVMPE-RS multiphoton excitation system enables high-precision, ultrafast scanning and stimulation, allowing researchers to see deep within specimens, take measurements at the highest speeds, and capture images, even when working under the most demanding conditions. The system has an unprecedented flexibility of customizable IX3 "open source" frames, where bespoke systems are effortlessly created by exchanging optical modules into an accessible infinite light path. Expanding the capabilities of the IX3, a range of accessories are available, and the high-end IX83 frame can be optimized for advanced live cell imaging with the cellVivo incubation system and cell∧tirf laser module. Centered on workflow ergonomics, the modular and flexible cellVivo incubator is based on a "one size fits all" concept, with adaptors for various frame types. cellVivo is uniquely accessible with just one hand, enabling simultaneous handling of the incubator and specimens for swift usage, protecting samples from prolonged exposure to the external environment.

Dying/Dead Cell Removal Device

ClioCell is an ex-vivo device for the removal of dying and dead cells, which improves viability and quality of cell populations and their subsequent productivity. The system comprises superparamagnetic nanoparticles, which have been coupled with proprietary elements that bind to dead and dying cells and cell debris. The resultant product selectively initiates dead-cell removal, emulating dead-cell clearance mechanisms, which operate in vivo to keep tissues functioning optimally. This technology is step-changing, providing new opportunities to optimize cell growth, culture, and storage. The ability to selectively remove inhibitory or toxic dead cells using a simple and rapid procedure results in radically improved cell populations; specifically, with regard to viability antibody/protein yield and consequent functional efficacy. ClioCell has been evaluated by several leading independent commercial and academic research institutions and has been successfully tested on many cell types, both human and mammalian.

Serum-Free Medium

The new Xuri MSC Medium and Attachment Solution is designed for serum-free and xeno-free expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells. Xuri MSC Medium is a versatile and reliable cell culture product that enables the safe and efficient expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC) without the use of animal-derived components or undefined serum. It can be used to culture hMSC from a range of sources, including bone marrow, umbilical cord, or adipose tissue. Compared with serum-facilitated cultivation, Xuri MSC Medium achieves a higher yield of multipotent cells in a single passage, thereby reaching the desired cell dose for patient treatment in a shorter timescale. Removing the need for lengthy batch validation and risk assessment associated with serum also enables a faster and more cost effective process. Xeno-Free Xuri MSC Attachment Solution is the recommended coating agent for the serum-free expansion of hMSC with Xuri MSC Medium and supports high reproducibility across batches.

Chromatin Immunoprecipitation

The Zymo-Spin ChIP Kit streamlines chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) with a protocol that has been optimized for efficient crosslinking, shearing, and immunoprecipitation of protein-chromatin complexes regardless of the mammalian cell type used. Features include high-sensitivity Protein A magnetic beads for rapid selection of targeted complexes and a unique microelution spin column for high-yield purification of ChIP DNA in ≥6 μL. The fast and highly reproducible procedure enriches DNA that is ideal for subsequent analysis including end point and quantitative polymerase chain reaction, ChIP-Seq library preparation, and next-gen sequencing-based applications.


The Amp'd HSP70 High Sensitivity ELISA Kit enables detection of both baseline and upregulated levels of Hsp70 (Hsp72) and relies on small amounts of starting sample. Baseline levels (<20 pg/mL) of Hsp70, specifically the inducible form Hsp72, have been traditionally difficult to detect using current enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs). The Amp'd HSP70 High Sensitivity ELISA Kit has greatly improved sensitivity enabling detection of both baseline and upregulated/stressed level of Hsp70 (Hsp72). This increase in sensitivity allows less sample needed to obtain accurate quantification of very low levels of Hsp70 (Hsp72) concentrations. The Amp'd HSP70 High Sensitivity ELISA Kit can be used to quantify human, mouse, and rat Hsp70 (Hsp72) in serum and plasma samples. This ultrasensitive assay is fully quantitative, with the ability to detect as low as 7 pg/mL of Hsp70 (Hsp72). Negligible reactivity is detected of similar Hsp70 family members and assay results are obtained in 4.5 hours for up to 38 samples in duplicate.

The Leica DMi1 enables cell biologists to check and document cell and tissue cultures within seconds. Its ease-of-use and efficient operation make it an excellent choice for routine laboratory work as well as for training. Combining high performance and affordability, the Leica DMi1 is equipped with LED illumination that provides constant color temperature with up to 20 years life-time. The convenient two-hour auto-off function helps reduce energy costs. For the finest visualization of cells cultured in a variety of containers, phase contrast is available in addition to brightfield illumination. The 40–50 mm or 80 mm working distance means that a wide variety of culture containers like flasks, dishes, or multiwell plates can be used on the fixed stage. An optional object guide with different kinds of holding frames is available to securely and reliably hold and move laboratory vessels during observation and documentation.
