About The Cover

COVER Illustration of an ultrathin cloak consisting of nanoantennas (gold blocks) conformally coating an arbitrarily shaped surface, rendering it invisible with red light. The varying dimensions of the nanoantennas correspond to different phase shifts that reroute light according to the changing height of the surface. This nanoscale illustration allows us to see the cloak, which is not visible to the naked eye. In the future, this cloaking mechanism will potentially be scalable for macroscopic objects. See pages 1269 and 1310.
