Collagen Gel

PureCol EZ Gel is a ready-to-use Type I collagen solution that forms a firm 3D gel simply upon warming to 37°C. The product consists of purified Type I collagen at a concentration of 0.5% (~5 mg/ml), Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM)/F-12 medium, and a mixture of L-glutamine and dipeptide (L-alanine-L-glutamine) to provide a long-lasting L-glutamine source for cell culture. PureCol EZ Gel is ideal for providing a firm 3D gel, and can also be used in the preparation of a thin layer for culturing cells. PureCol EZ Gel is provided in a user-friendly, ready-to-use sterile packaging. PureCol EZ Gel is the easiest way to form a 3D collagen gel.

Inflammation Panels

To understand the role that inflammation plays in diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, researchers must understand the complex interplay of many inflammatory proteins. With the Bio-Plex Pro Human Inflammation Panels, complex immune responses can be profiled in a single assay for the first time. The kits detect and quantify key inflammation biomarkers from the tumor necrosis factor (TNF), type 1 and 2 interferon (IFN), matrix metalloproteinase (MMP), and interleukin-10 (IL-10)/regulatory T cell (Treg) cytokine families. By studying up to 37 inflammatory proteins in one assay, researchers save time, money, and increase sample throughput. Results can be generated in as little as three to four hours. Premixed, ready-to-use screening kits are available in 37-plex and 24-plex formats. A Treg-pathway-focused 12-plex assay kit is also available. Researchers have the added flexibility of ordering singleplex or custom kits for more focused investigations.

In-Vacuum X-Ray Cameras

The PI-MTE in-vacuum X-ray camera line now features specially designed higher-sensitivity charge-coupled devices (CCDs). As the smallest commercially available scientific cameras engineered for in-vacuum use, the PI-MTE series provides all of the advanced features and functions needed to tackle demanding soft X-ray spectroscopy and imaging applications. Every PI-MTE delivers highly flexible multiple-speed readout capabilities, and allows researchers to optimize Princeton Instruments' renowned ultralow-noise and wide-dynamic-range performance for their specific soft X-ray applications. These thermoelectrically cooled cameras, which can support CCDs offering spatial resolution of up to 4 megapixels, are utilized at labs and synchrotrons worldwide. Compact PI-MTE cameras measure 4.57 in. (116.0 mm) × 2.36 in. (60.0 mm) × 3.15 in. (80.0 mm) and weigh just 2.5 lbs. (1.13 kg). The complete system includes an ST-133 controller, Princeton Instruments' optional LightField or WinX software, and in-vacuum electrical and cooling interface technologies that permit uninterrupted camera operation inside a vacuum chamber without compromising performance.

3D Cell Invasion Assay

The Oris 3D Embedded Invasion Assay is a unique product offering quantifiable real-time analysis of cell invasion. This new cell invasion assay is designed to enable cell movement through an extracellular matrix (ECM) in three dimensions, thereby getting you as close as possible to an in vivo experiment using in vitro conditions. Based upon patented "exclusion zone" technology, which uses cells embedded in a collagen matrix, Oris 3D Embedded Invasion Assays provide a simple, quantitative, and efficient way to monitor cell invasion and morphology changes in a more physiologically relevant microenvironment. With no artificial membranes obscuring cell visualization, cell invasion rates and morphology changes can be reproducibly and quantifiably measured as end-point assays or in real-time. Designed in an industry-standard 96-well plate format, the assay can be used with microscopes, plate readers, and high-content imaging systems, thereby delivering significant reductions in handling time for setup and analysis.

RSPO1 Protein-Producing Cell Lines

HA-R-Spondin-Fc293T cells can be used to produce purified Roof plate specific Spondin-1 (R-Spondin 1 or RSPO1) and RSPO1-conditioned media. RSPO1 is the critical ingredient used in the maintenance and proliferation of mouse and human organoid progenitor stem cells. These cells can be passaged indefinitely and can produce unlimited amounts of RSPO1 protein, allowing laboratories conducting research with organoids to save time and money. The RSPO1 cells are authenticated by Trevigen and tested to be free from mouse or human pathogenic agents. More than 90% of drugs entering clinical trials fail. Typically compounds that look promising after in vitro screening fail after in vivo analysis. By introducing the first commercially available HA-R-Spondin-Fc293T cell line to the market, Trevigen makes a positive step toward the adoption of 3D cultures in drug screening and other cell-based research applications.
