MALS Detector

The PN3621 MALS from Postnova Analytics sets a new standard for multiangle light scattering (MALS) detection for size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and field-flow fractionation (FFF) systems. The detector simultaneously measures the intensity of scattering at 21 angles, precisely calculating the absolute molecular weight of proteins and natural and synthetic polymers, as well as molecular size expressed as the radius of gyration, Rg. The PN3621 offers a complete set of stable and sensitive low-angle detectors at 7°, 12°, 20°, and 28°. For maximum flexibility, the detector allows you to read-in up to three external analog signals. A single software platform is available for the PN3621 and the full suite of Postnova SEC/FFF detectors (refractive index, UV, viscometer, dynamic light scattering, inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry). The PN3621 is compact and lightweight, saving valuable laboratory space and enabling you to easily transport and use the detector in different locations.

Antibody Purification System

AbPure Magnetic Purification System is a universal purification solution specifically developed to work with low antibody amounts. It enables scientists to easily remove a wide variety of substances, such as bovine serum albumin, glycine, Tris, and azide, which are commonly present in commercially sourced antibody buffers and affect conjugation reactions. The AbPure system is based on Protein A Magnetic Beads, which have a high affinity for immunoglobulin G molecules and allow scientists to purify small quantities of antibody from complex mixtures. While purification technologies based on Protein A are well known, they introduce substances that interfere with antibody conjugation reactions, forcing further cleanup steps and loss of valuable material. The AbPure system contains novel buffer compositions that are compatible with every conceivable approach to conjugation, including Innova's Lightning-Link, Thunder-Link, InnovaCoat GOLD, and LATEX conjugation kits. It will save researchers time, improve antibody yields, and facilitate conjugate production.

UHPLC Size Exclusion Column

The Yarra 1.8-µm SEC-X300 is a high-resolution gel filtration (GFC)/aqueous size-exclusion (SEC) column for separation of high molecular weight (HMW) biomolecules in HPLC and UHPLC systems. Its wide separation range of 10 KDa to 700 KDa and its high efficiency make this column ideal for separating and characterizing monoclonal antibody aggregates, antibody drug conjugates, and biosimilars in drug discovery and development research. The HMW focus of the SEC-X300 complements the low molecular weight range (1 KDa–450 KDa) of the Yarra 1.8-µm SEC-X150 column, providing two versatile separation tools for biopharmaceutical research. The proprietary Yarra surface chemistry combined with bioinert column hardware reduces sample adsorption compared to other GFC/SEC columns on the market, enabling improved recovery and more accurate quantitation of biomolecules at a lower price. The SEC-X150 and SEC-X300 media are now available in 150-mm and 300-mm column lengths, offering greater analytical flexibility as well as increased speed and resolution.

LC/Q-TOF MS System and Columns

Bio-Rad Laboratories' ChemiDoc MP Digital Imaging System is ideal for researchers who need reliable, reproducible fluorescent Western blotting data. The new platform offers high-resolution DNA and protein gel documentation features, and its chemiluminescence detection sensitivity matches that of traditional X-ray film. With the ChemiDoc System, researchers can detect a larger portion of the light spectrum than ever before.
