  • Man-made/natural heat is able to keep us cool

    April Reese reported the problem of warming the atmosphere by coolants in air conditioning (1). Heat produced by burning gases has been used in commercial refrigerators since 1920's. Man-made heat can be used for cooling. Natural heat including solar heat is also used to make ice by solar ice makers (2). If we can improve the heat exchange efficiency of such devices from hot to cold, the heat outdoors can be used for cooling indoors in general. By cooling condenser coils of air conditioners outdoors, the power dissipation can be drastically improved. Not only man-made heat but also natural heat can be used for keeping us cool. The problem of warming the atmosphere can be drastically improved.
