    Manfred Horvat wrote an article entitled “Reform and cooperation in China” (1). On January 6 in 2019, the first meeting of the China Construction Industry Artificial Intelligence Development Seminar was held in Beijing (2). The meeting confirmed the official launch of the “Special Research on Artificial Intelligence Development in China's Construction Industry” to help creating the internationalization of artificial intelligence in China's construction industry (2). The open platform will lead the scientific and technological progress and industrial transformation of the construction industry, will accelerate the cultivation of new kinetic energy for economic development, and will shape a new industrial system.

    The rapid development of artificial intelligence not only improves the life of human society, but also contributes to the development of the construction field. In order to solve many problems of the construction field: eliminating and pre-controlling the occurrence of safety accidents, avoiding and preventing the infringement of public property safety; the gradual disappearance of the hedged demographic dividends leads to the continuous rise of labor costs; changing the management of the site and promoting the supervision and the transformation of means; the application of new technologies, new materials and new processes to promote the continuous improvement of building production efficiency and technology.
