Movie S1 illustrates the conformational changes of Cdc42 in transition from the GDP-bound state (10) to the nucleotide-free state as observed in the DOCK9DHR2-Cdc42 complex. GDP/Mg2+ shown is as bound to the Cdc42-GDP/Mg2+ complex. Switch1 (red) undergoes a large conformational change, whereas the P-loop (blue) and switch2 (magenta) remain essentially unchanged.
