Movie S1. In this movie an LSG electrochemical capacitor is packaged in the ionic liquid 1- ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EMIMBF4). After charging the electrochemical capacitor at a constant potential of 3.5 V, it is used to light up a red light emitting diode (with a minimum operating potential of 2 V) for about 24 minutes.
