We attribute the non-linear elastic behavior to a multi-axial elastic instability of the lattice,
or complex coordinated elastic buckling of the strut members. This video shows
the affine rotations of terminal end nodes of a reversibly assembled cellular composite
sample during loading, which agrees with simulations of the coordinated buckling mode.
These rotations are most easily seen when the video player is set to automatically restart (loop).
