In the article "Intracellular oxidation-reduction states in vivo," by B. Chance, P. Cohen, F. Jobsis, and B. Schoener [Science 137, 499 (17 Aug. 1962)], two errors occur. The second sentence of paragraph 2, column 3, page 506 should have been two sentences, as follows (italicized words omitted): "Although such experiments are not yet feasible with brain mitochondria, we have no reason to believe that the data on the respiratory chain of yeast are inapplicable to the respiratory chain of brain tissue. The data on yeast cells indicate that an increment of pyridine nucleotide reduction of 80 percent as defined above corresponds to the extremely small oxygen concentration of 0.1 micromolar." In addition, the words micromole and micromoles in column 3, page 506, and column 1, page 507, should have been micromolar..
