About The Cover

COVER Real-space visualization of a molecular rotor (1.5 nanometers in diameter). The ringlike structure is a high-resolution scanning tunneling microscope image of a single molecule rotating at high speed. The two cone-like objects in the upper right corner are part of another group of molecules that acts as a bearing. The image is a pseudo-three-dimensional colored rendition. See 531. [Image: J. K.
