CAMBRIDGE, U.K.-- The U.K. government is sponsoring a series of six public debates around the country to give interested parties and members of the public a chance to voice their opinions on genetically modified (GM) crops. The debates are part of a coordinated series of events to help the government decide later this year whether to allow planting of GM crops in the United Kingdom.
