Summary
An electrophysiologist at the University of Texas at San Antonio has filed suit against the university for failing to honor its commitment to support her research in a timely fashion, claiming that two other male faculty members who arrived after her received money earmarked for her start-up package. She isn't asking for any money; instead, she wants the university to apologize for its actions. The university denies that it has done anything wrong and, therefore, says that no apology is needed.
