Summary
The Office of Science and Technology Policy is facing its own tough budget choices this year as it tries to coordinate research activities across the government. In November, Congress cut its 2012 budget by 30%, to $4.6 million, to demonstrate its unhappiness over U.S. scientific collaborations with the Chinese government.
