The reference to the blazar as being 3.7 billion light years away should be changed to 3.7 billion years ago to reflect the obscurant 'time since'' factor. Nothing is known about the current status of the blazar and all observations are conditional to entities generated in a past tense. The portrayal of observations of the past as current events gives a false impression of reality and lacks scientific rigor.

    • Orville Amyotte, retired teacher and farmer, within driving distance of the undertaker - chuckle hah hah.

Is it too far-fetched an idea to think that neutrinos will eventually be used to link-up the material world to the spiritual realm, which would give credence - finally- to the notion that there is an after-life after the one I now occupy here on earth.
