Analysis of pools of bees tested for candidate pathogens. Numbers in the CCD, Non-CCD, and Total columns represent the percentage of samples found to be positive among all samples tested in each category. The positive predictive value represents the probability that a positive result for a given agent is associated with CCD. The sensitivity is the probability that test results will be positive in all CCD cases. Specificity is defined as the probability that all non-CCD samples will be associated with negative test results.
